For environmental reasons, an increasing number of cardboard box colour overprinters are moving towards the use of water based inks. It is important that the cleaning agents applied to clean equipment at the end of working shifts and at colour changes during production runs are also environmentally safe.

Where to Use

A unique water based cleaning formulation designed for use on most water based paints, dyes and inks used in the printing industry.

How to Use

For heavily soiled components

• Use as supplied.
• Soak for 10 minutes and wash off with clean water.

For general cleaning

• Dilute with water (2−10%, depending on the level of soiling).
• Apply by brush, spray or by dipping and wash off with clean water.

NOTE

Printing ink effluent (containing Aqualem R) should be processed in interceptors before discharging to foul sewers.
